If you have stumbled upon this site, and subsequently this page, you've likely either just read something I wrote, or are cyberstalking me. In any case, you've come here to learn more about me.

I am currently 27-years-old. I am married to my wonderful husband Eugene, with whom I have two children, Kelly, 18 months, and Lyla, 2 months. We also have two cats named John and Yoko, and yes they were named after the John and Yoko.

I cannot remember a time when there weren't personal computers. I learned HTML in the 90's so I could help jazz up my parents eBay listings, and started playing with designing webpages on AOL and Geocities. I bought my first domain, juliekent.com, in 2004.

I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communiations/Digital design in 2004. I started, but did not finish Master's degree programs in MBA Marketing and Library and Information Science.

I have spent the past 8+ years working in a major public library system. That's 29.6% of my entire life. Wow. Prior to that, I helped my parents with the family carpet cleaning business and had a couple jobs on-campus during college.

Currently, I am co-owner and President of Cleveland Media Group LLC., the company behind The Cleveland Leader (clevelandleader.com), a popular news website begun in 2006, and Gossip Beat (gossipbeat.com), a celebrity gossip news site.

I spend a significant portion of my life writing, not only for my own websites, but for others as well. I'm a freelancer who'll write about nearly anything, so if you're looking for someone, I'm your gal. I've yet to write a book, but I've always wanted to and hope to one day. I'm not into fiction, so it definitely wouldn't be a novel.

What else is there to say? I'm competitive, I <3 Drupal, I like sports, my sun sign is Aries,and I prefer pie over cake and Pepsi over Coke.
